Since 1894, the Beavers and Ducks have squared off on the gridiron to do battle for football bragging rights in Oregon. “Civil War Rivalry: Oregon vs. Oregon State” is the definitive historical account of 127 years of one of the most stored rivalries in college football.
The author interviewed more than 150 players, coaches, team personnel and others from the football programs of both schools to unearth both the stories and the stories behind the stories about the rivalry. The book, published in 2014, will never be duplicated; many of those interviewed are no longer living.
