Come one, come all you forecasters; Pros vs. Joes bracket challenge beckons
You’ve been in March Madness pick ‘em contests before. But never one like this.
Our “Pros vs. Joes” Bracket Challenge offers our subscribers the opportunity to match their forecasting abilities with a cast of celebrities (and me) — and win prizes — while filling out an NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament bracket.
More info will be available shortly when you can sign up in advance to participate. The brackets will be announced on Sunday March 13th at 3 pm. It is free to submit your bracket.
You will be competing not only with other subscribers but with what we believe is the best panel of representatives of the state of Oregon sporting scene ever on one of these types of contests.
Who are the Pros? Beginning Tuesday through March 15, we will provide a bio of each of the celebrities who have agreed to participate in this one-of-a-kind affair. Among them, there are experts, and there are those who pay little attention to the college game. Our celebrities are represented by people that you have seen on television, listened to on the radio, and have rooted for in-person when attending sporting events.
We will find out together who knows their college basketball (and are lucky) as the games proceed toward the grand finale in the championship game on April 4 at the Superdome in New Orleans.
